The FREE Maptech ArcGIS Extension allows Maptech's raster cartography to be used directly in most Windows ArcGIS products that support raster cartography (ArcCatalog, ArcMap, ArcView, ArcInfo, ArcScene, etc.). No exporting, importing or reprojection is required! These maps, charts, and photos are distributed as part of Maptech's Terrain Navigator Pro, Digital ChartKit Professional, and AeroPack products.

The supported Maptech cartography types include:

- Maptech USGS Topographic Maps (Terrain Navigator Pro)

- Maptech USGS DEMs (Terrain Navigator Pro)

- Maptech USGS Orthophotos (Terrain Navigator Pro)

- Maptech NavPhotos (Digital ChartKit Pro)

- Maptech NOAA BSB Nautical Charts (Digital ChartKit Pro)

- Maptech FAA Aeronautical Charts (VFR/IFR AeroPack)

Included with the Maptech ArcGIS Extension is a Getting Started Guide that provides specific lessons, examples and tips for how to effectively use Maptech's raster cartography in ArcGIS. Also included are sample cartography files that allow you to follow the lessons in the Getting Started Guide.

Compatibility:

- ArcGIS 8.1 or higher

- Maptech Professional Raster Nautical Charts - BSB File Format (.KAP file extension)
