I have a Zenstar III and Maptech Navigator pro I run it on windows 7. When I turn on my computer (laptop) and the unit is plugged in I open the Navigator pro and No Gps Fix.
I go into tools / options / auto detect it does not see it I go to port settings and under the
prolific usb com port (6) on interface it says none.so I put in nmea o186,check the listener box and close the window No gps is found. in troubleshoot i get nmea data not received on that port. I unplug the cable and plug it back in and it receives data. Why do I have to do that??
