Offshore Navigator is the Maptech navigation software application that is included with many of our past and current offerings of Digital Charts. This includes products branded as
Chart Navigator,
Marine Navigator,
Digital ChartKit, and
Digital ChartKit Pro.
Offshore Navigator Lite is the Maptech navigation software application that is included on the Companion CDs that accompany our paper
ChartKits and
Waterproof Chartbooks.
Offshore Navigator Lite has also been included with other chart CDs, usually for waters outside of the US.
Offshore Navigator Lite is very similar to
Offshore Navigator - but with
these differences.
Chart Navigator Viewer is the free software application for planning on and printing Maptech BSB charts. It looks similar to
Offshore Navigator (and
Offshore Navigator Lite) but it does not have a "vessel" with which to navigate. It is often used to demo our charts and is available for
free download here.
